About Cyclamen 'Fantasia'® Mix

Cyclamen 'Fantasia'® Mix is a premium collection of compact flowering Cyclamen, admired for its beautifully marbled foliage and elegant blooms in a vibrant mix of colours, including shades of white, pink, rose, magenta and red. The unique flowers feature gracefully swept-back petals that appear to float above the attractive heart-shaped leaves, creating an eye-catching display from autumn through winter and into early spring.

Growing to approximately 20–30cm tall with a spread of 20–30cm, Cyclamen 'Fantasia'® Mix is ideal for brightening patios, doorways, window boxes, containers and sheltered garden borders. Its colourful blooms provide valuable seasonal interest when many other plants are dormant, making it one of the best plants for autumn and winter displays.

Planting Guide

• Plant in partial shade or a bright position with indirect light.
• Outdoors, choose a sheltered location protected from harsh winds.
• Prefers fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil.
• Improve poor soils with compost or well-rotted organic matter before planting.
• Ensure containers have excellent drainage.
• Dig a planting hole twice the width of the root ball and the same depth.
• Position the plant so the top of the root ball sits level with the surrounding soil.
• Backfill with soil and firm gently.
• Water thoroughly after planting.
• Space plants approximately 20–25cm apart for a colourful display.

Care & Maintenance

Cyclamen 'Fantasia'® Mix is easy to care for when grown in cool conditions.

• Water regularly, allowing the soil surface to dry slightly between waterings.
• Avoid overwatering, as waterlogged soil can cause tuber rot.
• Water around the base of the plant rather than directly onto the crown.
• Feed every 2–3 weeks during the flowering season with a balanced liquid fertiliser.
• Remove weeds regularly around outdoor plants.
• Keep containers free-draining throughout winter.
• Remove faded flowers and yellowing leaves promptly.
• Reduce watering once flowering has finished and the plant begins to enter dormancy.

Pruning

Very little pruning is required.

• Remove faded flowers by gently twisting and pulling the stem from the base.
• Remove yellow or damaged leaves regularly.
• Keep the centre of the plant clear of dead material.
• Allow plants to rest naturally after flowering.
• Resume watering when fresh growth appears for the next flowering season.

Cyclamen 'Fantasia'® Mix is generally healthy when grown in suitable conditions.

• Overwatering can lead to tuber or crown rot.
• Poor drainage is the most common cause of plant failure.

• Botrytis (grey mould) may develop in damp, poorly ventilated conditions.

All standard deliveries will be completed within 5-7 working days via DPD Couriers, any delay to this delivery time, the customer will be notified by One of our staff.

The in-Store delivery charge will vary compared with online, in-store delivery charge is done on a case by case basis.

Live Plants Delivery

Our live plants are packed with care and diligence by our staff, our horticulturists review each plant before despatch to ensure quality is maintained.
Live Plant delivery charges are not calculated on weight but on the space required per package to ensure safe delivery, so delivery charges may vary as some plants require more space than others when packed.
All live plants are despatched within 3-5 working days where possible, our couriers aim to deliver within 48 hours of despatch from our Garden Centre to allow the plant to arrive in healthy condition.

Can’t wait for delivery? Why not try our FREE Click & Collect service? Simply make your purchase online and collect it from our store located in Croagh Co. Limerick. Our staff will contact you by phone when your order is ready for collection (Please allow 24 hours minimum). When collecting your item, call the store on 069-64084. We will then load into your car as required. This service is available in-store 9am – 6pm Monday – Saturday (No collections on Sundays)
