    Description

    • Appearance: The Venus Flytrap exhibits rosettes of hinged, modified leaves with tooth-like structures that form traps when triggered.
    • Height: Grows up to 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15 centimeters) in height, creating a low and compact growth habit.
    • Spread: Spreads to about 3 to 4 inches (7 to 10 centimeters), forming a rosette of leaves close to the ground.

    Growth and Maintenance

    • Sunlight: Thrives in full sun or partial shade, requiring at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily for healthy growth.
    • Soil: Requires well-draining, nutrient-poor soil with a mix of peat moss, sand, or perlite for optimal growth.

    • Terrariums: Suitable for terrariums or indoor containers, providing a captivating display and serving as an educational plant.
