Overview & Features

• Myosotis Mix, commonly known as Forget-Me-Not mix, is a charming spring-flowering biennial or short-lived perennial.

• Produces masses of small, delicate flowers in shades of blue, pink, and white.

• Each flower typically features a contrasting yellow or white centre.

• Forms low, spreading clumps of soft green foliage.

• Typically grows 15–30 cm in height.

• Ideal for borders, woodland gardens, containers, and naturalising.

• Excellent for underplanting tulips, daffodils, and other spring bulbs.

• Attractive to bees and early pollinators.

This mix is valued for its soft, romantic look and ability to fill gaps with gentle spring colour.

Planting & Positioning

• Plant in full sun or partial shade.

• Thrives in light shade beneath trees or shrubs.

• Prefers moist but well-drained soil enriched with organic matter.

• Avoid very dry or waterlogged conditions.

• Plant at the same depth as in the pot and firm gently.

• Space plants approximately 20–25 cm apart.

• Ideal for cottage gardens, woodland borders, and informal planting schemes.

• Can self-seed freely in suitable conditions.

Myosotis performs best in cool, moisture-retentive soils.

Watering, Feeding & Flowering

• Water regularly during the first growing season to establish roots.

• Keep soil evenly moist, particularly during dry spells.

• Avoid overwatering or waterlogging.

• Feed lightly in early spring with a balanced fertiliser if soil is poor.

• Flowering typically occurs in mid to late spring.

• Deadheading can prolong the flowering period.

Consistent moisture encourages longer-lasting blooms.

Pruning, Maintenance & General Care

• Remove spent flowers if self-seeding is not desired.

• Allow some plants to set seed for naturalising if preferred.

• Trim back foliage after flowering once it begins to fade.

• Divide clumps if they become overcrowded.

• Generally low maintenance and easy to grow.

• Replace plants every few years if flowering declines.

Standard Delivery is FREE on orders over €250*

All standard deliveries will be completed within 5-7 working days via Fastway Couriers, any delay to this delivery time, the customer will be notified by One of our staff.

The in-Store delivery charge will vary compared with online, in-store delivery charge is done on a case by case basis.

Live Plants Delivery

Our live plants are packed with care and diligence by our staff, our horticulturists review each plant before despatch to ensure quality is maintained.
Live Plant delivery charges are not calculated on weight but on the space required per package to ensure safe delivery, so delivery charges may vary as some plants require more space than others when packed.
All live plants are despatched within 3-5 working days where possible, our couriers aim to deliver within 48 hours of despatch from our Garden Centre to allow the plant to arrive in healthy condition.
 

Click & Collect

Can’t wait for delivery? Why not try our FREE Click & Collect service? Simply make your purchase online and collect it from our store located in Croagh Co. Limerick. Our staff will contact you by phone when your order is ready for collection (Please allow 24 hours minimum). When collecting your item, call the store on 069-64084. We will then load into your car as required. This service is available in-store 9am – 6pm Monday – Saturday (No collections on Sundays)
