The Easy Elegance® Rose Mix is a collection of modern shrub rose varieties specially bred for low-maintenance beauty, exceptional disease resistance, and continuous blooms. These roses combine the charm and colour of old-fashioned roses with the resilience and ease of care expected from modern landscaping plants.

Each variety in the Easy Elegance® range boasts distinct flower colours, from creamy whites and yellows to vivid reds, pinks, and bi-colours. They are ideal for mass planting, borders, containers, and low hedges, offering reliable performance in a wide range of garden settings.

• Repeat flowering from late spring to frost

• Height and spread typically 60–120 cm

• Excellent black spot and mildew resistance

• Fragrant or lightly scented varieties, depending on selection

• All varieties are own-root roses, making them hardier and longer-lived

Growing Conditions and Maintenance

Easy Elegance® roses were developed with minimal care requirements, making them perfect for novice gardeners and those wanting reliable, fuss-free roses.

• Light Requirements:

  • Prefer full sun (6+ hours of direct sunlight daily)

  • Tolerate light shade but may produce fewer blooms

• Soil Preferences:

  • Thrive in well-drained, loamy soil enriched with compost

  • Tolerate a range of pH levels but prefer slightly acidic to neutral soil

• Watering:

  • Water thoroughly during the first growing season to establish roots

  • Once established, water weekly or more often in hot weather

  • Avoid wetting leaves to reduce disease risk—water at the base

• Feeding:

  • Apply a rose-specific fertiliser in early spring

  • Feed again mid-season for a second flush of blooms

  • Mulch with compost or bark in spring to retain moisture and suppress weeds

• Pruning:

  • Prune in late winter or early spring when dormant

  • Remove dead or crossing branches and shape as needed

  • Easy Elegance® roses require no complex pruning techniques

• Deadheading:

  • Most varieties are self-cleaning, dropping spent flowers naturally

  • Light deadheading can encourage more blooms but is not essential

• Best Uses:

• Design Tips:

  • Combine different colour varieties for season-long interest and contrast

  • Pair with perennials such as Salvia, Nepeta, or Coreopsis

  • Underplant with low-growing herbs or edging plants like thyme or geraniums

Standard Delivery is FREE on orders over €250*

All standard deliveries will be completed within 5-7 working days via DPD Couriers, any delay to this delivery time, the customer will be notified by One of our staff.

The in-Store delivery charge will vary compared with online, in-store delivery charge is done on a case by case basis. 

* Only mainland Ireland addresses qualify for free delivery.
 

Live Plants Delivery

Our live plants are packed with care and diligence by our staff, our horticulturists review each plant before despatch to ensure quality is maintained.
Live Plant delivery charges are not calculated on weight but on the space required per package to ensure safe delivery, so delivery charges may vary as some plants require more space than others when packed.
All live plants are despatched within 3-5 working days where possible, our couriers aim to deliver within 48 hours of despatch from our Garden Centre to allow the plant to arrive in healthy condition.
 

Click & Collect

Can’t wait for delivery? Why not try our FREE Click & Collect service? Simply make your purchase online and collect it from our store located in Croagh Co. Limerick. Our staff will contact you by phone when your order is ready for collection (Please allow 24 hours minimum). When collecting your item, call the store on 069-64084. We will then load into your car as required. This service is available in-store 9am – 6pm Monday – Saturday (No collections on Sundays)
