Overview and Key Features
Digitalis 'Lucas Pink' is a striking, compact cultivar of foxglove, cherished for its elegant spires of soft pink, bell-shaped flowers and compact growth habit. It is part of a newer generation of Digitalis hybrids bred for improved branching, longer flowering periods, and reliability as a perennial in the right conditions.
This variety is perfect for cottage gardens, wildlife borders, and pollinator-friendly planting schemes. The blooms are borne on upright, leafy stems above rosettes of lush green foliage, flowering reliably in early to mid-summer. ‘Lucas Pink’ is often sterile, meaning it won't self-seed freely like some traditional foxgloves—this can be an advantage in well-controlled beds or mixed borders.
