Watering:

Water regularly during the first year to help roots establish.

Mature plants need minimal supplemental watering except during prolonged drought.

-
Feeding: Apply a balanced slow-release fertiliser in spring to support healthy growth and abundant flowering.

Pruning:
-
Flowering occurs on new wood—prune in late winter or very early spring to encourage fresh shoots.
-
Remove any dead, damaged, or crossing stems to maintain shape.
-
-
Mulching: Apply a 5 cm layer of organic mulch in spring to conserve soil moisture and suppress weeds; avoid piling mulch against stems.
-
Pest and Disease Resistance: Highly resistant to pests and generally disease-free, making it an easy-care shrub.
-
Winter Care: Fully hardy and requires no special protection in winter.
-
